从前的乐道院
一百三十年前，北美长老会牧师狄乐播受命来潍县建立了教会、学校和医院，命名为“乐道院”。“乐道院”建在潍县城东南约六华里路处，当时人们惯称“洋楼”。
四、五十年代时从远处眺望“乐道院”，那里有潍县最高建筑广文中学的“大钟楼”、教会的“大教堂”和医院的“十字楼”，鲜艳的红色瓦房，掩映在翠绿的参天大树中，景色十分可观。“乐道院”地处美丽的虞河南沿，周围设有高大的围墙，有两个大门，正门(北大门)和医院北门，各有老者看守，正门是个黑漆大门，门楼正面贴制有“乐道院”三个大字的横匾，门两旁各有一座半米多高的青石墩，人们喜欢坐在上面休闲纳凉。进入正门有一条通往学校和教会的马路，马路两旁生长着高大的白杨树，路的左面（东）是一个大厅房，四面玻璃窗，十分明亮，解放后是医院的门诊部.往前走是两层高的“道学楼”，这里是教会讲道的地方，在这里经常听到祈祷声和歌声，解放后医院作为眼科楼使用，是医院门诊的一部分。右面（西）石坝上面靠院墙是一座圆棱形大教堂，它是西洋式建筑，白墙红瓦，园形琉璃窗子，八角尖顶，既华丽又庄重，建造别具一格。教堂经常有聚会活动和礼拜，最有趣的是圣诞节时的盛况了，圣诞树、圣诞老人每次都引来许多小朋友，非常热闹。教堂顶上时常有大群大群地斑鸠、鸽子“呼啦呼啦”地飞来飞去，有时成片的落在楼顶上“咕咕”叫，人们伴随在它悦耳地歌声中。教堂周围的大柏树林里每天傍晚都有无数飞鸟夜宿，嘻闹欢叫，很惹人喜欢，我小时候最爱跟小朋友在这里玩耍、弹蛋（玻璃球），因为这里地面平坦宽敞，有大树遮荫，小鸟啼叫，心情好，教堂已于七十年代初拆除，现在仍有照片可见。教堂附近（东南方）有狄乐播牧师的纪念碑一座，石碑坐落在铁栅栏的护围中。教堂西面是广文中学的篮球场，球场西北角围墙内有一个园形的“观星台”，可登高眺望院墙外风光。再往南走便是“圣经学院”和“灵修院”，这里是一片红瓦平房，设有“读经班”，经常听到里面传出读经声和歌声，曾有一位王重生牧师与一位张牧师主持，这里培养出了不少的教务人员。南面就是广文中学，从马路南头进入开放式宽大的东校门后，可见西面与北面各有一排西洋式建筑风格的二层教学楼，教室内不时传出读书声和歌声，课余时间校园里同学们作广播体操，追逐玩耍，十分活跃。教室的西面是学校的体育场，学校的体育活动开展得很好，一年数次的运动会最为壮观。最北边（后面）是一片学生平房宿舍区和教师宿舍区，房屋院落整齐清洁，整个校园内树木非常茂盛，空气十分清新。四、五十年代时校长是葛益斋、潘少萍等人，这个学校无论在学业还是文体活动方面，在昌潍地区都是名列前矛的，曾经培养出众多优秀学子。学校高大的“钟楼”上，悦耳的钟声“嗡嗡”地响彻潍县城，它是学校师生起居作息的“号令”，也给全城人播报着钟点，它的声音十分温馨与亲切，钟楼的顶部已于七十年代拆掉,“大钟”现放在“潍县集中营纪念馆”用作展览了。最南面便是环境幽雅的“南外国院子”，园内奇花异草，大树参天，十分清静，外人很少入内，鸟儿在一米多高的树杈上筑巢，这里有着异域美景，国外风情，很有身处青岛“八大关”的感觉。这里有数座青砖红瓦小洋楼，曾经住着美国人雷牧师、吴牧师和黄乐德牧师（乐道院长）等几位教职人员。不少外国人最后留在了中国，当时在院子的南端，可见不少他们的卧式墓碑。
走进“乐道院”铁栅栏样医院北门，左边是医院“十子楼”，各科住院病人都在那里，那时人员少、设备差，医院用电由自己电机房磨，用的水是土自来水，要工人用压水井一下一下地把水压到“小水楼”上去，条件虽差，但医院的工作人员天天出出进进，忙忙碌碌为患者服务，还是很好地担负起了昌潍地区各县、区重病、大病的诊疗任务；医院还设有护士学校，培养出了大批合格的好护士。大门两边各有一排小平房，是医院职工居住的地方，我小时候曾跟父母住在这里，经常跟一些国内外小朋友一起玩耍。西面平房前面有一个黄色厅房，解放前曾是医院的门诊部，梅仁德院长常在那里上班，解放后改为总务处，以后被拆除。再往前走，上去台阶是数座西洋式小楼房，名为“专家楼”，张冠增、张斟滋、于岩竹、刘兰芳等多位知名专家都住过这里。医院东南角还有一个“小岗楼”，这是为护卫医院而建的，晚饭后人们喜欢到上面去浏览野外景色。
“ 乐道院”外还有南、北乐道村，村里有不少人在医院工作，孩子们在广文中学和附小上学，人们都非常熟悉。“乐道院”外虞河北面不远处是解放后建立的“昌潍医士学校”（现昌潍医学院），原来有一小木桥与医院相通，后来建起了虞河大桥使学院与医院连接在一起，十分方便了。
虞河是一条很美丽的小河，水流清澈见底，鱼儿在水草间游来游去，在冲“乐道院”正门处建有一座漂亮的小石桥，人们站在桥上观赏游鱼，学生们三五成群说说笑笑来去如梭，游玩者倘佯其间幽闲自得。岸边垂柳成荫成行，游人们或拥坐树下乘凉细语，或甩竿垂钓，女孩们一面洗衣一面说笑，好个风光，好不惬意！
经过几十年的变迁，“乐道院”原来的“芳容”基本无存，后来的人们了解的就少了，我在“乐道院”长大，对其有深厚的感情，了解的也多一点，为此，特试着写出从前“乐道院”的大体“模样”，帮大家回忆那段悠久的历史故事。

从前的乐道院
一百三十年前，北美长老会牧师狄乐播受命来潍县建立了教会、学校和医院，命名为“乐道院”。“乐道院”建在潍县城东南约六华里路处，当时人们惯称“洋楼”。
四、五十年代时从远处眺望“乐道院”，那里有潍县最高建筑广文中学的“大钟楼”、教会的“大教堂”和医院的“十字楼”，鲜艳的红色瓦房，掩映在翠绿的参天大树中，景色十分可观。“乐道院”地处美丽的虞河南沿，周围设有高大的围墙，有两个大门，正门(北大门)和医院北门，各有老者看守，正门是个黑漆大门，门楼正面贴制有“乐道院”三个大字的横匾，门两旁各有一座半米多高的青石墩，人们喜欢坐在上面休闲纳凉。进入正门有一条通往学校和教会的马路，马路两旁生长着高大的白杨树，路的左面（东）是一个大厅房，四面玻璃窗，十分明亮，解放后是医院的门诊部.往前走是两层高的“道学楼”，这里是教会讲道的地方，在这里经常听到祈祷声和歌声，解放后医院作为眼科楼使用，是医院门诊的一部分。右面（西）石坝上面靠院墙是一座圆棱形大教堂，它是西洋式建筑，白墙红瓦，园形琉璃窗子，八角尖顶，既华丽又庄重，建造别具一格。教堂经常有聚会活动和礼拜，最有趣的是圣诞节时的盛况了，圣诞树、圣诞老人每次都引来许多小朋友，非常热闹。教堂顶上时常有大群大群地斑鸠、鸽子“呼啦呼啦”地飞来飞去，有时成片的落在楼顶上“咕咕”叫，人们伴随在它悦耳地歌声中。教堂周围的大柏树林里每天傍晚都有无数飞鸟夜宿，嘻闹欢叫，很惹人喜欢，我小时候最爱跟小朋友在这里玩耍、弹蛋（玻璃球），因为这里地面平坦宽敞，有大树遮荫，小鸟啼叫，心情好，教堂已于七十年代初拆除，现在仍有照片可见。教堂附近（东南方）有狄乐播牧师的纪念碑一座，石碑坐落在铁栅栏的护围中。教堂西面是广文中学的篮球场，球场西北角围墙内有一个园形的“观星台”，可登高眺望院墙外风光。再往南走便是“圣经学院”和“灵修院”，这里是一片红瓦平房，设有“读经班”，经常听到里面传出读经声和歌声，曾有一位王重生牧师与一位张牧师主持，这里培养出了不少的教务人员。南面就是广文中学，从马路南头进入开放式宽大的东校门后，可见西面与北面各有一排西洋式建筑风格的二层教学楼，教室内不时传出读书声和歌声，课余时间校园里同学们作广播体操，追逐玩耍，十分活跃。教室的西面是学校的体育场，学校的体育活动开展得很好，一年数次的运动会最为壮观。最北边（后面）是一片学生平房宿舍区和教师宿舍区，房屋院落整齐清洁，整个校园内树木非常茂盛，空气十分清新。四、五十年代时校长是葛益斋、潘少萍等人，这个学校无论在学业还是文体活动方面，在昌潍地区都是名列前矛的，曾经培养出众多优秀学子。学校高大的“钟楼”上，悦耳的钟声“嗡嗡”地响彻潍县城，它是学校师生起居作息的“号令”，也给全城人播报着钟点，它的声音十分温馨与亲切，钟楼的顶部已于七十年代拆掉,“大钟”现放在“潍县集中营纪念馆”用作展览了。最南面便是环境幽雅的“南外国院子”，园内奇花异草，大树参天，十分清静，外人很少入内，鸟儿在一米多高的树杈上筑巢，这里有着异域美景，国外风情，很有身处青岛“八大关”的感觉。这里有数座青砖红瓦小洋楼，曾经住着美国人雷牧师、吴牧师和黄乐德牧师（乐道院长）等几位教职人员。不少外国人最后留在了中国，当时在院子的南端，可见不少他们的卧式墓碑。
走进“乐道院”铁栅栏样医院北门，左边是医院“十子楼”，各科住院病人都在那里，那时人员少、设备差，医院用电由自己电机房磨，用的水是土自来水，要工人用压水井一下一下地把水压到“小水楼”上去，条件虽差，但医院的工作人员天天出出进进，忙忙碌碌为患者服务，还是很好地担负起了昌潍地区各县、区重病、大病的诊疗任务；医院还设有护士学校，培养出了大批合格的好护士。大门两边各有一排小平房，是医院职工居住的地方，我小时候曾跟父母住在这里，经常跟一些国内外小朋友一起玩耍。西面平房前面有一个黄色厅房，解放前曾是医院的门诊部，梅仁德院长常在那里上班，解放后改为总务处，以后被拆除。再往前走，上去台阶是数座西洋式小楼房，名为“专家楼”，张冠增、张斟滋、于岩竹、刘兰芳等多位知名专家都住过这里。医院东南角还有一个“小岗楼”，这是为护卫医院而建的，晚饭后人们喜欢到上面去浏览野外景色。
“ 乐道院”外还有南、北乐道村，村里有不少人在医院工作，孩子们在广文中学和附小上学，人们都非常熟悉。“乐道院”外虞河北面不远处是解放后建立的“昌潍医士学校”（现昌潍医学院），原来有一小木桥与医院相通，后来建起了虞河大桥使学院与医院连接在一起，十分方便了。
虞河是一条很美丽的小河，水流清澈见底，鱼儿在水草间游来游去，在冲“乐道院”正门处建有一座漂亮的小石桥，人们站在桥上观赏游鱼，学生们三五成群说说笑笑来去如梭，游玩者倘佯其间幽闲自得。岸边垂柳成荫成行，游人们或拥坐树下乘凉细语，或甩竿垂钓，女孩们一面洗衣一面说笑，好个风光，好不惬意！
经过几十年的变迁，“乐道院”原来的“芳容”基本无存，后来的人们了解的就少了，我在“乐道院”长大，对其有深厚的感情，了解的也多一点，为此，特试着写出从前“乐道院”的大体“模样”，帮大家回忆那段悠久的历史故事。
